Baton Rouge, LA – Congressman Mike Pence is the most recent speaker to join the SRLC 2010 lineup.

“I’m honored to have the opportunity to address the Southern Republican Leadership Conference. During these trying times for our country I look forward to discussing how to win back America and set a course for our nation that returns us to our foundation of limited government, fiscal discipline and traditional moral values,” Pence said today.

“Congressman Pence is a tireless and effective advocate for principled conservatism and we’re looking forward to his speech,” said Charlie Davis, SRLC Director.

Congressman Pence will join Governor Tim Pawlenty, Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich, and Governor Sarah Palin in New Orleans.

The Southern Republican Leadership Conference is the most prominent Republican event outside of a Republican National Convention. It is held every two to four years and brings the top Republican activists, donors, candidates, and elected officials together for three days of training, briefings, receptions and speeches from the leaders of the Republican Party.

SRLC 2010 is being held at the Hilton Riverside in New Orleans, LA, April 8 – 11, 2010. The 14 southern states involved are Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and West Virginia.
