Southern Republican Leadership Conference

Liz Cheney, daughter of Former Vice President Dick Cheney and co-founder of Keep America Safe, will address the 2010 Southern Republican Leadership Conference in April.

“I am honored to be invited to speak at this year’s SRLC. I look forward to addressing the largest Republican gathering ahead of the 2012 Republican National Convention and discussing ideas that will secure our country’s future and keep America strong, free and prosperous,” Cheney said.

“Liz Cheney is a powerful voice in the Republican Party,” SRLC President and CEO Charlie Davis said. “She and her organization, Keep America Safe, effectively advocate for a sound national security policy to protect our country and our troops.”

According to its website, Keep America Safe “believes that the United States can defeat our adversaries and defend our interests from a position of strength. America has, for 233 years, been an unparalleled force for good in the world, that our fighting forces are the best the world has ever known and that the world is a safe place when America is trusted by our allies and feared and respected by our enemies.”

The Southern Republican Leadership Conference is the most prominent Republican event outside of a Republican National Convention.
